Tuesday 18th April

 

Phone call on Tuesday 18th April with Vera from DCJ-H.

I was told that a meeting was had with Yvonne and her support person on Friday 14th April.

DCJ-H are giving Yvonne a fortnight to stop the dog from coming out onto common property.

I was told that Yvonne's property goes to the carport.

After that it is common property - where the dog must be on-leash.

 

It is my belief that the moment the dog comes out Yvonne's front door, it is not under her control.

Therefore to ensure that the dog does not come past the carport there needs to be a physical structure or fence erected.

 

A fortnight from my phone meeting with Vera will be Tuesday 2nd May.

I was asked to give Yvonne until this date to rectify the situation.

 

I wasn't told exactly what rectifying the situation will mean.

Vera only spoke of the rope that is holding the screen door open.

 

I can agree to giving Yvonne until 2nd May.

 

 

Wednesday 19th April

 

I had a brief phone call with Anthony from IWC.

I said that as of 2nd May if Yvonne continues with her 4 x breaches of The Companion Animals Act, I think she should be fined.
